As a professional historical interpreter, I offer demonstrations of braiding, heddle and tablet woven wares. These can be made either as a straightforward display or as participatory and educational workshops for both children and adults. A variety of costume and practical uses of these narrow wares are also shown, here appropriate to the highly decorated clothing and fancy wares of the mid Victorian period.

I also offer seasonal participatory workshops for a wide range of genteel Victorian 'parlour crafts': These have recently included decoupage, shellwork or making Christmas decorations - the latter being particularly popular as participants take away a finished article to hang on their tree.

Lectures and presentations as a supervising housewife show a wide range of cooking methods with a - hopefully! - witty overview on status, ingredients, availability, etiquette and custom. A full cookery demonstration, from start to finished dish, can be performed where facilities are available.
